Lawnscaping Challenge #116: Too Cute to Spook Sponsored by Lawn Fawn

It's that time again - challenge time! So, this challenge from Lawnscaping Challenges is a great one. Too Cute to Spook. Create a non-scary, Halloween-themed project for this go around! Lawn Fawn has a ton of adorable Halloween and fall sets to choose from. Have a blast!

We are sponsored by the always amazing Lawn Fawn! Those folks just rock and they are sponsoring this challenge with a free stamp set of the winner's choice! So many stamp to choose from, I know. It's tough. We just heart them! Thank you Kelly Marie and gang for sponsoring us! YOU ROCK!

I finally got my hands on the Goodie Bag die from Lawn Fawn and all I have to say is, why did I wait so long?!?! It's amazing. So simple. So adorable. You must get this!

I have listed all the supplies I used below for these. I created two bags - one for each of my kiddos for Halloween morning at the breakfast table (or maybe after school). I'll stick in probably a fun toy, probably Legos or Star Wars, and some healthier treats. These are really adorable and pretty simple to make. I suggest watching the YouTube video that Lawn Fawn has out there where they show how to cut, fold/score and assemble these. I love how thoughtful they were when they designed this. You need to cut two panels for each bag and you use ONE 6"x12" sheet of paper. So, you'll get 2 bags out of the same sheet of paper! How awesome is that? See? Thoughtful. Thank you, Lawn Fawn!

Here is the little black bag:

And the little orange bag:

And now, both bags together again!

Have fun with this challenge and be sure to check out the rules to enter your card into this challenge over on the Lawnscaping Blog!

Lawnscaping Challenge #92: Halloween OR Color Combo

Welcome back to another fun Lawnscaping Challenge! This time, we have Halloween OR Color Combo. Anyone who knows me knows I LOOOOOOVE Halloween. I seriously live for it all year long. I'd love to be able to decorate for Halloween all year round. :)

We are sponsored by the always amazing Lawn Fawn

For my project, I chose to do BOTH the Halloween theme and used the color combo. I used the Lawn Fawn Monster Mash for the little purple monster and the candy corn from the Lawn Fawn Critters in Costume. I adore those little monsters. For the eyeballs, I used some simple pearl accents and a black marker to dot in the eye. LOVE it. And he's super fancy with his little bow tie. Ready to party! I colored them in with my Spectrum Noir Markers.

For the sentiment in the corner, I used the Have a Boo-tiful Day from the Monster Mash set and the pennant tag from Lawn Fawn's Winter Gifts.

For the card, I used a cream base and used an edge distressing tool to roughen up my purple and orange patterned paper. It gives it that creepy look for Halloween. For the black piece, I used my Tim Holtz Alterations Embossing Folder, Notebook Paper.

I think this might be tucked into my oldest's lunchbox for Halloween :)

Have a blast playing along with our challenge. You can find all the rules at the Lawnscaping Challenge blog!
