Papertrey Anniversary Challenge
Hi there! I decided to join in the fun over at Papertrey to celebrate their 5th anniversary. We were to use something out of the freebie download the designers had each contributed an image for and use that on a project. How fun is that?!
I thought the toaster was just adorable, so I used that on the outside of an envelope and stamped a tiny sentiment below the toast. I chose to pop up the toast and toaster for dimension and added twine to the electrical cord for fun. I remember my grandmother had an old toaster when I was younger and it was very similar to a braided wire look so I thought the twine was perfect.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you love the card. I made this for my son actually for Valentine's Day to tuck inside his lunchbox :)

Is it Tomorrow?!
I am beyond excited for tomorrow. No, I'm not excited about finishing up my laundry (um, well, okay, I kind of am...), nor that I will most likely get up at 6:15am to workout because I have this muffin top nagging me, BUT I get to go scrapping tomorrow. WITH. MY. BESTIE. Love this girl :)
Thought I'd share a cute picture of us! So we're heading to Archiver's tomorrow to get our scrap on, but first, since I've NEVER been, we're going to PaperSource!!!!!! I'm ready to take some photos in the store (yes, my camera goes EVERYWHERE with me at all times) and get my mustache on. Probably literally. Some say I may carry some faux mustaches in my bag. Hmm. Do I? Tune in soon to find out :{)
Now I must get my photos uploaded for my current projects at hand. And they go as follows, NOT in any particular order:
1. Finish 2010 December Daily (missing two pages of pics)
2. New Year's Goals 2012 book (adorable idea I found over at Dear Lizzy's blog which she's beyond amazing and beautiful and stylish)
3. Bookmarks for Valentine's Day for Mikey's class. They'll be funSTACHEtic.
4. Work on my 10 year anniversary mini album using the Amy Tan mini. Gorgeous is all I can say. I'm addicted. I want them all. This is going to be a longer project since I have to actually scan a few wedding pictures!
5. Little Valentine's for Logan to hand out at daycare. I'll get the card bases all together and ready, and may try to make my own mini envelopes with my Martha Stewart scoreboard. MAY being a key word :)
6. Hopefully get a couple items done for pub calls and online challenges.
I hope to get a few of these knocked out tomorrow. I may try to submit the new year's goals book since I already love it and I'm not even done yet!
Here's a card I wanted to submit, but decided not to and wanted to share instead. Let me know what you think. Always love a little blog love. Mikey picked out the colors for me to color the cup.

Scrapbook Throwdown WINNERS!!!!
Hey everyone! I did get 3 comments on my blog about wanting to win the spot in the Scrapbook Throwdown, so I had to use the random number generator to make it fair and here's what it said for each one:
Congratulations, Julia!!! You're winner number one!
Congratulations, Lara!!! You're winner number two!
I'll be forwarding your email addresses on so that you can receive your free spot in the Scrapbook Throwdown class. Congratulations again. Thank you so much for playing along! I hope you enjoy the layout I've created once you get into the class and all the other wonderful inspirational layouts the other designers have created as well. Have fun!!!!!!!
