Friends are Flowers

I love this little dog image! He's from the Mulberry Wood EZMount-Friend set. I love that you can color him all different ways to create a doggie to your liking!!

He's so cute and sweet with his bundle of flowers. I colored in with my Spectrum Noirs and cut around him leaving just a little border around him and glued him on with pop dots. I cut a cute little notched banner out of some patterned paper. I took the sentiment and used some distress inks and just cut around it and used pop dots to give it dimension. The background on top of the light sage base of the card is actually a journaling card I had in my stash! I loved being able to use my scraps and stash items :)

Hope you loved it! What a sweet and simple card to send a special friend.

There for Me

I've got a pretty and simple card today to show you that I created using the Stamp-It Australia Birds & Butterflies from Crafter's Companion for the large block of butterflies. I colored them in with my Spectrum Noirs and then added some distress ink over it with sponges to make it softer. I then used a distress tool around the edges to roughen them up.

The sentiment is from the Crisalis Classics, The Rehearsal set. I used my scalloped circle punch and then used inks to gently soften the white paper to make it coordinate with the butterfly piece.

I also used a piece of teal scrap stock in the center on the bottom to give it a little hint of color that mimics the color in the teal butterfly on the left. I then used a larger piece of kraft that I used some spray mist on for fun. I used a jute string around it and topped off with a magenta button to match the color of the top butterfly.

I hope you enjoyed the card! :) Head on over to the store to check out these and other great stamp sets today!!

Falling Feathers Card

Welcome back! Today I have a pretty and simple birthday card that I created using the new Sheena's A Little Bit Sketchy Falling Feathers set. This set features a variety of feather sizes. I adore the fonts in the sentiment, too. I'm a designer, so I'm a font-y. :)

I colored my feather with soft turquoises fading to olive greens using my Spectrum Noirs. I wanted something soft looking. I then fussy cut around it and used pop dots to glue it down to the patterend chevron paper for dimension.

The sentiment was cut out into a strip and I made the one end into a banner. The other end was scored and folded over and secured with mini staples to give a little texture to.

Very simple, yet stunning!

Party Paws Release...

I've got a really cute little animal to share with you today. Meet Bamboo from Party Paws! Today he's relaxing in a bubble cute is he?? Another adorable little animal from Crafter's Companion.

I embossed the blue cardstock to mimic bubbles in the tub. I colored the image in with my Spectrum Noirs which I love to use these all the time. Seriously. Amazing. Then I punched out the sentiment with a simple circle punch and added Stickles around the circle and stuck it underneath the cutout of Bamboo.

I hope you liked it and you'll check out the rest of our design team's creations. Snag your set today!! You'll love all the images of Bamboo :)
