Front Porch Kits, Sew Artsy FULL REVEAL!

Today is the day!!! I get to reveal each of my projects. Let's see who guessed it :)

Project #1: PINTEREST FASION MINI ALBUM
I used one single sheet of cardstock for the interior pages making pockets to hold 2 outfits I pinned to my Fashion board. This book is nice and small enough to stick in your purse on your way out to go shopping for clothing. Great thing is that you can change out the fashions for each season! I just resized the images in InDesign 4 up on a 4x6 sheet size so I could just cut it apart and stick them into the pockets. I had a blast finally using some of my pinned items :)

For the cover, I really wanted to use the box that the kit came in, so I did! I just rounded the two corners and there ya go! Instant textured covers.

Project #2: FLOWER PIN
I used some Papertrey Ink dies to cut out this flower pin with fabric and felt included within the kit, layered them for texture, and I actually sewed (yes, ME, I did use a needle and thread) this button on and the pin backer. I used a vintage button card to stick the pin on and glued some pretty lace trim on the bottom. I found a beautiful button within the kit and used that for the flower's center along with a tiny spool and added some pink string in the kit for a pop of color.

Project #3: MEET HATTIE HOOP
This is Miss Hattie Hoop. Basic embroidery hoop made into an adorable frame. This was one of the gifts I gave my mom for Mother's Day. I used this plastic backed canvas type material for the main background, stamped on it with a brown ink and used soft colored Copics to color in the flowers for a vintage/soft touch. There are stamps of simple dragonflies as well hiding behind the photos.
I added a pop of color with the paint chip behind the vintage inspired photo strips of my boys. I tacked them on the canvas with adorable button topped pins!!

I also created a faux button card of my own using Papertrey Ink stamps/dies and used more of the fluffy cream felt in the kit and a vintage button. My favorite thing has to be the canvas tag! I love the look of these. There were several in the kit and this fit perfectly on my hoop.

To hide the closure at the top of the hoop, I wrapped beautiful mauve ruffled trim around it and made it into a hanger for my mom to be able to just hang this up. SO much fun and so many possibilities with the hoop!

Project #4: 12X12 LAYOUT
There are soooo many elements to this layout, just take a peek at all the sewing related goodness that I was able to incorporate on a simple layout about cousins and childhood!! I adore the pattern and zipper!!!

And one final project!
Project #5: Dressform Decoration
I knew what I wanted to do with her the moment I "saw" her. Ha! I laugh because I asked my husband to saw a notch into the spool so that I could glue the bottom of the dressform into to stand up. This was my mom's other gift. She has a sewing room that this would go perfectly in! That's the reason I also did this double sided as well so that it would be pretty from whatever side you look at it from.

There are a lot of elements here from the kit–dressform, vintage spool, stickers, pink measuring tape (which I cut it off at 77 to represent the year I was born), wood flower covered with vintage pattern, mini heart hanger, resin flowers, fabric, beautiful scrapbook paper, and more!

I really hope you enjoyed all my projects as much as I enjoyed making them. I hope that you go an order this kit, Sew Artsy TODAY! It's fantastic!!!! And the possibilities are endless :)
