Basketball Card
I've got a fun card here. My friend's son's birthday was this past weekend and he LOVES basketball! So I was doing a crop w/my bestie and had to stop to grab adhesive and I walked past the Cuttlebug embossing folders and saw this awesome folder I knew would be awesome for basketball texture. So that's how I got the "bball" background.
Then I used SP & Co.'s Stitchery Doo stamp set for the lines of the basketball. I just curved them on my clear block and used some black ink and made it look like, well, a basketball! I wanted to add a little something on there for the whole turning 7 bit. I used some MFT stamps I had and inked them up and made the circle piece and stamped 7th inside.
Then open it up, and look at that! A gift card pocket! Brand new set from SP & Co. designed by Vintage October called All Zipped Up! I love this pocket!!!!!! It holds the gift card perfectly and come on, it's too cute. You could put all sorts of things inside the pocket besides gift cards-money, your kids school pictures (wallet sized), candy, movie tickets, little love notes...I could go on! THIS IS A MUST HAVE :)

Scrapmaster's Paradise: March Stamp Release Blog Hop
I haven't joined in on a challenge over at The Scrapmaster/Scrapmaster's Paradise in a while and I had the PERFECT project to submit for the challenge. Here's the details of the challenge:
GREEN CHALLENGE
Play along with our green color challenge below. Use GREEN as the main color on your project. Got SP Stamps? Great, use em! If not, any products will work :)
Here's my project! I even dug out my good ol' Cricut for this one. I think it's been three years since we last played together. And I gotta say, I missed it all this time. I'll be using it more often I think...
I used the polka dot background stamps by SP & Company on the letters I had cut out and stamped that in green. Went great w/the plaid background of the tags for the banner. A little brown and white baker's twine added just a little something to the two letters. Lots of inking of edges occurred here. LOTS! :)
Here's a close-up of each letter:

Lawnscaping Challenge #29: SKETCH
Hey there! I have wanted to participate for a while now, so here I go. I got together w/my bestie over this weekend and she has some great Lawn Fawn sets, so I had to snag them for a card for this sketch challenge. I loved the sketch and as soon as I saw the bike, I had an idea...
Here's the details about the challenge:

Welcome to another Lawnscaping challenge!!!! Today's challenge is all about the sketch! You can interpret it anyway you see fit. Use it exactly as you see it here. Flip it on it's side. Use a different shape! This is a starting off point for your creative minds!
And here's my take on the sketch, turned on it's side and the sentiment moved just a smidge :) Let me know what you think! Thanks for stopping by!
